Diner en Blanc – Gold Coast

Moss’n’stone were very privileged to be the chosen florist for this exciting gathering of beautiful people, held on the Gold Coast for the very first time in September this year. The main event was held in parkland at Main Beach which provided party goers with the beautiful backdrop of the Broadwater and it’s marina.

The Flowers

The florals were designed with large groupings of white roses and disbuds, phalaenopsis orchids (fresh & silk), for the greenery we used stunning smoke bush, jasmine, pepperberry, palm leaves and ferns. The result was simply stunning and when arranged with the decor for the event the overall appearance was opulent to say the least.

Diner en Blanc

Diner en Blanc began in paris in 1988 when Francois Pasquier, returning from a long stay abroad, had the idea to gather friends for a picnic. As the number of guests grew, he decided to hold the dinner in a public space and ask everyone to dress in all white to easily recognise one another. More than 25 years later, over 10,00 Parisians participate each year. In 2009, the first ever export of Diner en Blanc took place in Montreal, followed by New york City in 2011. Diner en Blanc in now held in 60 cities in 25 countries with more than 100,00 annual guests. (The Urban List Gold Coast)
