Special Event Flowers
We love catering for Weddings, Gala Balls, Corporate Functions and Special Events, all of which leave us with a great sense of achievement. Special event functions can takes hours of planning behind the scenes, we work tirelessly for weeks prior to any event to ensure we have chosen the correct flowers, colors, designs and props for the occasion.
No Obligation Consultation
After our initial consultation where we generally ask our customer to provide us with images, colors, and designs for their event, we then proceed to find a supplier where we can purchase the flowers and props required. Choosing flowers months in advance can often prove to be a little tricky as we never know if our suppliers will have the stock at the time. For that reason it is always a good idea to have a plan B.
Keeping It Fresh
As the event gets closer the flowers are ordered to ensure they arrive in store the week of the event. With fresh blooms arriving almost on a daily basis keeping them as fresh as a daisy (so to speak), is all in a day’s work. Moss’n’stone have their own huge refrigeration unit where our blooms are stored before and after floral arrangements have been completed to keep them crisp and fresh.
The Clean Up
It’s not all glitz, glamour and beautiful flowers, someone has to make a mess and get their hands dirty to produce such creative designs. Generally we all pitch in to ensure your event flowers are complete the day prior to your celebration. After exerting our creative talents to achieve the perfect floral landscape it’s time to clean up. There have been times in our work area when we have been almost knee deep in off-cuts after processing the flowers and foliage but it’s all part of the fun!
